Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly revolutionizing healthcare by reshaping patient care and medical research. This article provides an overview of the multifaceted impact of AI in healthcare, focusing on its applications in medical imaging interpretation, personalized medicine, clinical decision support systems, and drug discovery and development. AI-powered algorithms are enhancing diagnostic accuracy, personalizing treatments, and accelerating the identification of novel therapies. However, the widespread adoption of AI in healthcare presents challenges such as data privacy, algorithm bias, and ethical considerations. Addressing these challenges is essential to ensure the responsible deployment of AI technologies and harness their full potential in transforming healthcare delivery and advancing medical science.
