Abstract

This thesis explores various approaches to promoting language learning in the classroom, with a focus on listening and intercultural competence. The importance of developing listening skills and intercultural understanding in language learners is discussed, along with strategies and resources for improving these skills. Additionally, the use of interactive language teaching methods and computer-assisted language learning is examined as effective tools for enhancing language acquisition. Drawing on cognitive psycholinguistic principles in second language acquisition, this thesis provides a comprehensive review of current research and pedagogical practices aimed at facilitating language learning in the classroom.
