Abstract

This article explores the critical role of interactive methods in teaching foreign languages and their impact on language acquisition. Traditional language teaching approaches often focus on rote memorization and passive learning, which may not effectively engage students or promote long-term retention. The interactive methods, such as communicative activities, role-playing, and language games, actively involve learners in the learning process, fostering meaningful interactions and real-life language use. Research has shown that interactive methods can enhance students' motivation, confidence, and proficiency in a foreign language. This article discusses the benefits of incorporating interactive techniques in language instruction and provides practical recommendations for educators to create dynamic and engaging language learning environments. By embracing interactive methods, educators can empower students to develop their language skills effectively and enjoyably.
