Abstract

This article explores the significance of vocabulary teaching in enhancing language learning outcomes. Various effective strategies for vocabulary acquisition, such as contextual learning, mnemonic devices, and spaced repetition, are discussed in detail. The positive impact of explicit vocabulary instruction on language learning outcomes is supported by research, emphasizing the benefits of systematic teaching and multiple exposures to words. Additionally, the integration of technology in vocabulary teaching is explored as a means to provide interactive and engaging learning experiences
